日本留学プログラムは毎年春学期に開催されます。学生は京都で生活し、勉強し、定期的に歴史的および文化的な名所を見学します。
インターンシップ
ジャパン ビジネス インターンシップは、学生に日本で貴重な実践的な就労経験を積む機会を提供します。
インターンシップは通常、日本の企業と春から夏に行われますが、秋から冬にかけてのインターンシップや、日本と提携している米国の企業とのインターンシップも可能です。
ジャパンハウス
ブリガム・ヤング大学の言語イマージョン学生寮（LISR）プログラムは、日本語を含む多くの言語に浸って練習する環境を提供しています。ジャパンハウスでは、キャンパス内の宿舎で、日本語を勉強している仲間と一緒に生活します。居住エリアでは日本語のみで会話し、週1回の勉強会に参加し、週4回の夕食会に他の居住者と参加します。たいていの場合、LISRは男性用アパート1戸と女性用アパート1戸（1戸につき最大6人）を提供しています。各アパートの住人の1人は、日本語の母国語または日本語が流暢な人であり、正しい日本語の使い方の見本となります。プログラムの一環として、秋冬学期をとおして日本語311Rを2単位履修することが可能です。
